REVLON Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamel: China Flower (Review, NOTD)

Hi, my lovely friends

Do you guys like monsoon? Well I only like it if I am at home! It had been raining heavily for the past few days in Kolkata and thank God I did not need to go outside. On such lazy days I really like to paint my nails! And this time I painted my nails all coral with this pretty nail paint from Revlon. But did the formula work? Read on to know…

Price: 350

Quantity: 11.7ml

Packaging: Well, what can I say about the packaging? I instantly fell for such a vintage and classy bottle of nail paint. It comes in a square sturdy glass bottle with a black round lid. The quality of the brush is also quite good.

Shade: The shade China Flower is a bright coral colour with red undertones which in my opinion will suit a variety of complexions. If you like corals or bright shades like me then you are definitely going to love this.

My experience with Revlon Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamel

I love this shade. The finishing is also nice. I am wearing this quite a lot these days. It does not give opaque colour in one swipe, you need to apply at least 2 coats to get the actual shade and full opaque colour. I sometimes apply 3 coats even. It gives a shiny effect but the shine does not last long, hardly the next day, specially if you wash your hands frequently or do a little household works. It starts chipping only after 2 days if applied without any base or top coat. When I apply it with a base coat on, it tends to give better finishing and lasts for 3-4 days without chipping. I do not know but the wear time may vary in other shade.

Coming to the scent, it has a fruity smell. I quite like my nails emitting fruity scent which lasts more or less up to 2 days. After that it slowly fades away. I do not know how to describe it but it definitely does not smell like any flower. The nail paint becomes fragrant only after it dries. You cannot smell anything while it is inside the bottle.

Final Verdict

Over all this is a nice product with few cons. I love the shade China Flower. Just wished it stayed longer on my nails without chipping, considering the price. Also the shine should have lasted a little more.

BBD Rating: 3.75/5

Have you tried this range of nail paints? Let me know.
